In case of an emergency, you can also request a cash advance on your account, subject to transaction approval by your bank. The Visa Customer Service Center will make all necessary arrangements to send you the cash wherever you are through the fastest method available.
When you pay the full price of your tickets with your valid and active Visa Giro card, you, your spouse and dependent children under 23 years of age are automatically covered in case of death or accidental injury while under the responsibility of a commercial carrier with a valid license to transport passengers by air, water or land.

If your Visa Giro card is lost or stolen, the Visa Customer Service Center, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, receives your report and takes the necessary steps to block the lost or stolen card and protect you from the unauthorized use of the account. The Visa Customer Service Center also arranges for a replacement card to be sent to you within one working day in North America and outside North America.
Remittances are received directly in the account and there is no need to go to the bank each time to get the funds of each remittance.
The funds are available immediately and can be used to make purchases at merchants, and also to withdraw cash at ATMs.
Safety and Security
You do not have to carry your entire remittance in cash and your funds are protected if the card is lost or stolen.
